Generali and Glacier cooperate on climate protection

As part of the SME EnterPRIZE initiative, Generali and Glacier – an Austrian company with the vision of building the most effective community around climate protection – have launched a cooperation starting on 1 October.

The start-up Glacier helps other companies on their way to climate neutrality. The focus is on training, networking, best practice and solution-oriented actions. The Glacier community is made up of people who want to drive climate protection forward with their commitment. It is about change and the very clear goal: save the planet.

"Sustainability and climate protection are very important topics for Generali and for me personally," explains Generali Austria CEO Gregor Pilgram. "For this reason, we are starting a cooperation with Glacier company. Thanks to this cooperation, we will anchor sustainable thinking and actions even more firmly in our corporate culture." Chosen Generali employees will be trained soon by Glacier as "Climate Rangers". Their task will be to accompany the introduction and implementation of environmental initiatives in Generali.

The Generali SME EnterPRIZE Heroes are also on board

The partnership with Glacier was initiated as a part of the Generali SME EnterPRIZE campaign. Best practice examples and input from the Glacier climate protection community support not only Generali, but also the three first-placed Generali SME EnterPRIZE Heroes. They received a one-year free membership with Glacier and they can use it to advance their sustainable projects.
