Roman Juráš, CEO of Generali Česká pojišťovna, commented this year´s success: "I sincerely thank the entire Generali Česká team, they absolutely deserve such a victory. Not so long ago, we worked for weeks in an exhausting calamity regime to manage and solve thousands of damages caused by tornadoes and extreme storms as quickly as possible. Thanks to this, we paid out tens of millions of Czech crowns in just a few days after the disaster, so that people would have the funds available as soon as possible. Together, we are proving to our clients that we are truly a lifetime partner for them, whom they can rely on in any situation.”

The Hospodářské noviny Best Bank of the Year and Best Insurance Company of the Year awards have been announced this year for the 13th time. The prestigious competition evaluates banks and insurance companies on the Czech market, using only objective data and numerical indicators. At the same time, it draws these data both from corporate´s official documents and from the results of its own survey or with the help of economic indicators that document the economic health of individual banks and insurance companies.
