    Generali's sustainability activities recognized in the Responsible Business Forum report

    Two Generali Poland projects were featured in this year's report "Responsible Business in Poland 2022. Good practices" published by the Responsible Business Forum (FOB). The FOB recognized the insurer for its support of families with children from Ukraine and the project of the first systemic therapeutic hypothermia in "N" transport in Poland.

    In this year's "Responsible Business in Poland 2022: Good Practices" report, two Generali practices were noted.

    Generali Poland, together with the The Human Safety Net and Caritas Poland, organized a program of temporary accommodation for Ukrainian families with children in centers in Warsaw and Firlej. The program lasted from 1.03 to 30.06.2022 in Firlej and until mid-August in Warsaw. To enable the children in Firlej to participate in online lessons, Generali donated equipment, including laptops. A collection of products for Ukrainian refugees was organized among employees. Generali's Ukrainian employees received financial support organization of assistance for them and their relatives, and all employees received the opportunity for psychological assistance.

    In 2022, Generali Poland continued the program for the use of therapeutic hypothermia in the transport of newborns, implemented in cooperation with The Human Safety Net Foundation and the Karol Marcinkowski Medical University in Poznan. In May 2022, another piece of equipment for therapeutic hypothermia in neonatal transport was donated. This time it was given to the Polish Mother's Memorial Health Center Institute in Lodz.

    Published annually by the Responsible Business Forum, the report "Responsible Business in Poland. Good Practices" is Poland's largest overview of ESG, CSR and sustainable development initiatives. The 21st edition presents 1,705 activities undertaken by 272 companies. They were divided into 7 areas, such as: community involvement and development, labor practices, environment, human rights, consumer issues, fair operating practices, organizational governance.
