Generali Serbia supports students with innovative entrepreneurial ideas

Generator Fluo - a big prize contest which was organized by Societe Generale bank in cooperation with Generali Serbia and other partners. The contest targeted to students with innovative, feasible and sustainable entrepreneurial ideas. A team of three students from Serbia with their project reached the main prize.
This contest – open for individuals and teams up to three members who are studying in Serbia, are between age of 18 and 27, and want to start a new entrepreneurial idea or improve an existing one, no matter the industry – was organized by Societe Generale bank in cooperation with Generali Serbia. Presentation of very interesting and promising projects as well as the announcement of the winners took place at the beginning of summer, in front of the jury, media, entrepreneurs and investors.
Team HearO Glasses, which developed a product for people with hearing impairment which will help them navigate traffic more easily, won a trip to Societe Generale Group’s technology hub in Paris and an opportunity to further develop their innovation in an international startup environment. Their special glasses have LEDs which use light signals to warn the user intuitively about an imminent danger.
Main prize, a trip to Societe Generale Group’s technology hub was an opportunity for this team to exchange ideas in an international startup environment and further develop their innovativeness. Generali Serbia provided EUR 500 worth of travel money, for each member of the winning team as well as travel health insurance for the duration of the prize trip and an unforgettable Generali balloon trip over Paris.
