    Managerial changes announced in Czech Republic and Slovakia

    A new member of the Board of Directors of Generali Česká pojisťovna appointed and changes among Generali Slovakia executives.

    As of 1st of March 2023, Pavol Pitoňák, member of the board of directors and Commercial Director for the Czech Republic, will hold the position of Head of the Generali branch in Slovakia and Chief Sales Officer in Slovakia, and will also continue to lead the bancassurance, auto insurance and travel insurance departments in the Czech Republic.

    Pavol Pitoňák will take over his new role after Juraj Jurčík. Juraj, member of the board and head of the Generali branch in Slovakia, has decided not to hold his current position in order to temporarily devote himself to his own activities.
    Jurčík contributed in setting up and bring to success Generali Slovakia and continues to be part of the Generali Group.

    Marián Zelko, who successfully managed the Customer Development and Marketing Department for more than 3 years, will become a new member of the Board of Directors and Chief Sales Officer for retail in the Czech Republic.
    He has been working for Generali for more than 11 years and before coming to the Czech Republic he was responsible for external distribution, innovation and strategic team in Slovakia.

    The Customer Development and Marketing Department will be taken over by board member Katarína Bobotová, who will now hold the position of Chief Transformation and Marketing Officer.
    Katarína Bobotová has been working for Generali since 2016, where she was responsible for HR, strategy and managed the company's transformation processes both in Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
