    PREMISES & GLOBAL SERVICES

THSN Global Fundraising Challenge bore its fruit in favour of the most vulnerable ones

What a great feeling of achievement we did all together. THANK YOU!

During the last weeks, in Austria, CEE & Russia Region, we were more than 1,500 employees, agents and business partners engaged in the first THSN Global Fundraising Challenge! Your engagement and creativity have been beyond all expectations and the result so far is simply amazing: more than 61. 500 EUR collected in 11 countries of our Region. And it is not yet finished. Some countries are still active until the end of June.

Luciano Cirinà, Austria, CEE & Russia Regional Officer and CEO of Generali CEE Holding, commented: „In our Region the commitment of our employees, agents and business partners for the first The Human Safety Net Global Fundraising Challenge has been extraordinary. We have collected 61.500 € so far and some challenges are still active until the end of June. Thanks to our effort, more children will be able to benefit from the projects created by our local NGOs partners and The Human Safety Net. We did it all together! Thank you!“

Generali demonstrated the power of our engagement when joining all our efforts. We experienced what a movement of people helping people really means!

The money raised in each country will allow new projects to be activated which will be designed together with our NGOs Partners. You will hear soon about them after the summer.

The Human Safety Net Global Fundraising Challenge in the Czech Republic

More than 74.000 kilometers ridden by bicycles and over 63.000 kilometers vanquished by walking. In the Czech Republic, we have collected more than 370.000 CZK together (approx. 15.000 EUR) to help beneficiaries through our two NGO Partners – the Leontinka Foundation and Vita et Futura Endowment Fund. More specifically, the amount will go to the necessary intensive neurorehabilitation for little Anička and to help premature babies.

At the finish line of the Global Challenge, we also helped another family. The family of four-year-old Natálka, who was born as one of the twins in about half of a normal pregnancy, which unfortunately caused her a number of very serious health complications. We managed to fundraise a total of more than 3,600 EUR for Natálka.

The Human Safety Net Global Fundraising Challenge worldwide

3,500 Generali volunteers in 23 countries joined the Challenge 2021, raising 200,000 EUR to support the most vulnerable ones in our communities!

Another the Human Safety Net Challenge will be back in June 2022.

This first edition of THSN Global Challenge has been an incredible demonstration of who we are at Generali. It was a real celebration of our values and volunteering spirit. For sure, we all want and will live again such amazing community spirit of achieving something big together for the most vulnerable ones in each country.

In Generali, we can all be proud of what accomplish under The Human Safety Net!
