Antonella Maier and Andrej Bukovčan to join the Executive Committee of Generali CEE Holding B.V.

Prague - As of 10 December 2019 Antonella Maier and Andrej Bukovčan are becoming new members of the Executive Committee of Generali CEE Holding B.V, organizational unit, seated in Prague.

Antonella Maier and Andrej Bukovčan will support the current regional management team led by Austria, CEE & Russia Regional Officer and CEO of Generali CEE Holding Luciano Cirinà.

Antonella Maier will become Chief Insurance Officer for Life and Health Business in Austria, CEE & Russia Region. Andrej Bukovčan will take the position of ExCo Member, remaining responsible for HR & Organization for the whole Region.

Antonella Maier is a great expert in the Life area and she has proven her managerial skills over many years as well as being appointed as one of the very first woman-manager in Generali Group´s history. She joined Assicurazioni Generali Trieste in 1983, throughout these years she had high managerial positions being responsible for Life and Employee Benefits in Generali Italia or Banca Generali. Since 2009 Antonella was Member of the Management Board of Genertel Life becoming Managing Director in 2015. Antonella Maier holds a Degree in Statistical and Actuarial Sciences from the University of Trieste. She is married, with two daughters.

Andrej Bukovčan has joined Generali CEE Holding in May 2016 and contributed significantly to further development of the HR area in the region. Before, Andrej was Head of HR at Generali Poisťovňa in Bratislava. He reached this position after a significant external experience, which provided him the opportunity to work extensively across different countries within the region, including Russia. Andrej Bukovčan has studied psychology and English language and literature at the Comenius University in Bratislava. He is married, with two children.

Andrej Bukovčan, new member of the Executive Committee of Generali CEE Holding, responsible for Human Resources and Organization in Austria, CEE & Russia Region, stated: “It is an honour to represent Human Resources function in Executive Committee of our region.
