    New Chief Risk Officer for CEE and Czech Republic

    Marcela Středová will be appointed as new Chief Risk Officer of Generali CEE Holding as well as of Česká pojišťovna and Generali Pojišťovna.

    Prague - As of 1 October 2017 Marcela Středová will be appointed as new Chief Risk Officer of Generali CEE Holding as well as of Česká pojišťovna and Generali Pojišťovna. She will also join the Executive Committee of Generali CEE Holding.

    In these roles she will succeed Milan Novotný who will become the Country Chief Risk Officer of Generali Germany.

    The Chief Executive Officer of Generali CEE Holding, Luciano Cirinà, commented: “It’s a great proof of our capabilities to have a manager like Milan appointed to such an important position in one of the Group’s biggest markets. And I am very happy that with Marcela we have a very proper successor available internally for this important role.”

    Marcela Středová (41) is Chief Actuary of Generali CEE Holding as well as of Česká pojišťovna and Generali Pojišťovna since 2013. She started her career in the insurance industry in 2000 and joined the Group company Česká pojišťovna as actuary in 2002. Marcela studied at the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics at Charles University in Prague (doctorate exam: Specialization: Econometrics, Insurance) and holds an Executive MBA degree of the US Business School Prague. Marcela Středová is member of the Czech Society of Actuaries since 2003. She is married with two children.
