Generali Poland named “Friendly Insurance Company” of the year

In the 2024 edition of the Friendly Insurance Company competition, organized by trade media outlet Gazeta Bankowa, Generali Poland won across all three categories: motor insurance, property insurance excluding moto, and life insurance. Moreover, the CEO of Generali Poland, Roger Hodgkiss, was awarded the title of Insurance Manager of the Year 2023.

Companies participating in the competition are evaluated based on surveys prepared by the partner of the competition, strategic consulting firm Kearney, as well as the Jury, comprised of experts from the insurance market, representatives of academic circles, and the editorial team and publisher of Gazeta Bankowa.

The survey, which had to be submitted for the competition, consisted of 51 questions in each of the three categories - motor insurance, property insurance excluding moto, and life insurance – and covered six thematic areas: general, supervisory, financial and non-financial indicators, solvency, and innovations and trends. The ranking was determined by the total points from both the survey and the Jury's voting.
