Andrea Simoncelli awarded the title of Manager of the Year 2020

Andrea Simoncelli, President of the Management Board of Generali Polska companies, was awarded the title of Manager of the Year 2020 by Home & Market magazine. The monthly appreciated leading Polish managers, including presidents of banks and insurance companies, who according to the editors deserve to be called exceptional.

President Andrea Simoncelli was awarded for how efficiently Generali Polska companies managed to adapt their customer service to new conditions and for providing support during the pandemic. The editors also noted the company's involvement in helping Polish hospitals.

As we can read in the justification of the title: "Generali Polska quickly adapted to the pandemic, implemented tools for remote sale of policies by agents, simplified claims settlement, introduced product facilities for customers and the only Group Insurance covering Covid-19 on the market – so employers can insure their crew against coronavirus. Generali Polska has also financed 48 ventilators for Polish hospitals as part of the Caritas Polska campaign "Grateful to Medics".

The Manager of the Year project has been published in Home & Market for years. As mentioned above, this title is awarded to the heads of companies, who according to the editors deserve to be called exceptional, because "they are ahead of market needs, create business reality, care for the financial liquidity and continuous development of the companies they manage, as well as for the fact that they care for the presence of enterprises in the social environment."
