Valter Trevisani

Chairman of the Board of Directors of Generali CEE Holding B.V. and Generali Group Chief Insurance Officer
 

Valter Trevisani joined the Board of Directors of Generali CEE Holding B.V. in 2008 and became its chairman in 2014. He was appointed Generali Group Chief Insurance Officer in May 2016.
 

He had been Group Head of Insurance and Reinsurance from December 2014 and previously Chief Technical Officer.

From February 2009 to December 2012, he was responsible for the operations of all foreign territories as well as of the Life, Non-Life and Reinsurance activities at Group level.

Valter was promoted Assistant General Manager in 2002 and in 2007 was appointed Deputy General Manager.

In 1998 he also took the responsibility for Netherlands, followed by Spain in 1999.

In January 1996 he came back to Generali Group Head Office and was appointed Area Manager within the Group Insurance Operations of the Corporate Center, in charge of U.K., CEE and Asia region.

From 1991 to 1995 he worked in various U.K. and U.S.A. subsidiaries of the Group in the underwriting area.

From the beginning of his career in the Generali Group to 1991 he worked at the Research Department of Generali Head Office, where he was in charge of monitoring the developments taking place in the main insurance markets outside Italy, with particular reference to Central and Eastern Europe.

Valter Trevisani began working for the Generali Group in December 1988.

Luciano Cirinà

Chief Executive Officer of Generali CEE Holding B.V.
 

Luciano Cirinà has been based in Prague since March 2013, and is responsible of the Group‘s business in Central and Eastern Europe. He is member of the Generali Group Management Committee from May 2016.
 

In 2007 he was appointed CEO of Generali Versicherung AG in Austria before becoming Head of Generali Holding Vienna. From 2005 to 2006 he was Area Manager at the Company Head Office in Trieste, overseeing activities in Austria, Central and Eastern Europe, Greece, Tunisia and the Middle East. Prior to that, he served as Head of the Corporate Risks Division for Austria and CEE countries in Vienna from 1996 to 2004.

Luciano began his career in 1989 with Deutscher Lloyd (Generali Group) in Munich as an Underwriter and later as Chief-Underwriter with responsibility of the Industrial Fire Underwriting Department.

He graduated in Business Administration from the University of Trieste in 1988.

Luciano was elected President of the Austrian Insurance Association in 2012.

Luigi Lubelli

Generali Group Chief Financial Officer
 

Luigi Lubelli has been appointed Group Chief Financial Officer in January 2017 and is member of the Group Management Committee. He has been working in Generali since October 2015 as Group Head of Corporate Finance, with responsibilities over Treasury, Debt Management, Strategic Hedging & Quantitative Finance and Insurance Liability Management. In June 2016 he took responsibility also of the Group Financial Reporting Risk, the Actuarial Function and Group Tax.
 

Luigi Lubelli holds a degree in Economics from Bocconi University, Milan and a master’s degree in Risk Management of Insurance Companies from Instituto de Estudios Bursátiles, Madrid.

Gregor Pilgram

Chief Financial Officer of Generali CEE Holding B.V.
 

Gregor Pilgram has been based in Prague since July 2013, and is responsible for Consolidation, Controlling, Actuarial Services, Bancassurance and Reinsurance.
 

He supervises the financial performance and strategic development of ten CEE countries out of the Generali CEE Holding based in Prague. Before taking this position, Gregor was for five years CEO of Generali Slovenia and also the President of the Supervisory Board of Generali Croatia. Gregor Pilgram started his career as an expert in the Controlling Department of Generali’s Slovenian subsidiary in 1999. In the years that followed, he worked as Head of Internal Audit and CFO. He became CEO of the company in 2008. He was appointed Chief Financial Officer and became a member of the Executive Committee of Generali CEE Holding as of July 2013.

During his work in Slovenia Gregor Pilgram was a member of numerous associations including the Executive Board of the Slovene Managers Association. He was awarded a “Young Managers of the Year 2010” award by Slovene Managers’ Association for shaping the Slovene insurance market and bringing Generali in Slovenia to become one of the market leaders.

Gregor Pilgram graduated from Vienna Economic University with a Master’s degree in Business Administration in 2001.

Martin Sturzlbaum

Board Member of Generali Holding Vienna and Generali Versicherung
 

Martin Sturzlbaum has been appointed Board Member of Generali Holding Vienna and Generali Versicherung on 1 June 2017. He joined the Generali Group in 1987 starting his professional career in Vienna. From 1990 till 2000 he contributed in the founding and growing of the Generali companies in Hungary, the Czech Republic and Slovakia in various responsibilities i.e. sales, life/non life insurance and operations, as Director, Board Member and later Deputy CEO. From 2000 until 2014 he served as CEO of Europaïsche Reiseversicherung for Austria. From October 2013 he is member of the Supervisory Board of Česká pojišťovna – for the first two years as Chairman. From 2014 until 2017 he was CEO of Generali Belgium.

Martin Sturzlbaum holds a master and doctor degree in law from the University of Vienna.

Luciano Cirinà has been based in Prague since March 2013, and is responsible of the Group‘s business in Central and Eastern Europe. He is member of the Generali Group Management Committee from May 2016.

Josef Beneš

Chief Investment Officer of Generali CEE Holding B.V. and Chief Executive Officer of Generali Investments CEE
 

Josef Beneš became Chief Investment Officer of Generali CEE Holding and CEO of Generali Investments CEE in 2014. At the same time he was appointed Regional CIO for CEE of the Generali Group. He joined the Executive Committee of Generali CEE Holding in July 2016. He gathered vast experience in the financial industry in the Czech Republic and abroad.
 

Josef Beneš holds Master Degrees from the University of Economics Prague and the Columbia University New York.

Gianluca Colocci

Generali Group Head of Mergers & Acquisitions
 

Gianluca Colocci has been appointed as Group Head of Mergers & Acquisitions in June, 2014.
 

He started his professional career as Management Consultant in the financial services industry within a worldwide consultancy firm.

He joined Generali Group in 1995 as analyst within the Treasury Dept. and since then has held a growing range of responsibilities over his tenure becoming Head of Investor Relations (1998), Head of Corporate Finance (2003), Head of Group Mergers & Acquisitions (2007).

In 2008 following the establishment of Generali PPF Holding, Joint venture for the insurance activities in CEE based in Prague, he was appointed member of the Executive Committee with responsibility for Mergers & Acquisitions and Country Manager for Insurance Operations.

He returned to the Group Head Office in Italy, in 2013 he was Head of the Business Coordination Unit Growth Options and International Business coordinating operations in CEE, Asia, Generali Employee Benefits and Corporate & Commercial.

Mark Dassui

Chief Insurance Officer of Generali CEE Holding B.V.
 

Mark Dassui was appointed Chief Insurance Officer for the CEE Region in December 2016.
 

His career in the insurance industry began in 1985. He joined the Generali Group as an expert in the field of retail non-life non-motor insurance operations at AachenerMuenchener Insurance in 1993 and held various leadership positions in the years that followed. In 2011, he moved to Generali Poland as a member of the Management Board. In May 2014, he joined Generali CEE Holding in Prague, the Czech Republic, as Head of P&C Non-Motor Insurance. A few months later, he also assumed the position of Head of Product Management, Non-Life Motor and Retail Non-Motor Insurance, for the Group’s Czech companies. In July 2015, Mark was asked to move to Group Head Office in Trieste as Head of Non-Life Non-Motor Insurance.

On 1 December 2016, he became a member of the Executive Committee of Generali CEE Holding as Chief Insurance Officer for the CEE Region.

Milan Novotný

Chief Risk Officer of Generali CEE Holding B.V.
 

Milan Novotný was appointed Chief Risk Officer of Generali CEE Holding in 2013.
 

Prior to this appointment, he had worked as Group Solvency Coordinator for two years. He joined the Group in 2002 as Senior Actuary in the Life Actuarial Department of Česká pojišťovna. He became a member of the Executive Committee of Generali CEE Holding in July 2016. Milan Novotný began his career in the insurance industry in 2000 after studying Statistics and Actuarial Science and Monetary Economy and Banking at the University of Economics in Prague.

Harald Steirer

Chief Operations Officer of Generali CEE Holding B.V.
 

Harald Steirer has been based in Prague since May 2015. He is responsible for IT, Procurement, Facility Management and Processes as well as for Customers & Distribution.
 

He has been working for the Generali Group since 2004 and has held a number of international roles in the Group’s companies. He served as CEO of Generali Osiguranje, Croatia, from 2004 to 2007. At the same time, he was the responsible Area Manager, Central and Eastern Europe, for Customers & Distribution at Generali Holding Vienna. In 2008, he was appointed as a member of the Board of Generali Holding Vienna with responsibility for Marketing and Sales, and in March 2012, he also assumed responsibility for Life Insurance Operations. In May 2015, he joined the Executive Committee of Generali CEE Holding as Chief Insurance Officer, and in December 2016, he became Chief Operations Officer for the CEE Region.
