Generali Bulgaria launches an upgraded customer portal for online management of insurance products

Generali Insurance AD in Bulgaria launches its upgraded customer portal – My Generali, which allows all customers to pay instalments and renew their insurance policies online. The portal and the application are developed by technology company Software Group and are a continuation of the strategy for digitalisation of the services provided by the insurance company.

All existing customers of Generali who have a Casco, Third Party Liability, Home Property or Automobile Care package can manage their insurance portfolio in real-time through an intuitive online portal. The project is part of an innovative platform for sales and management of insurance policies through digital channels, developed by Software Group, a key element within GENERALI 2021, the strategy of the leading insurance company.

My Generali is an innovative solution for our customers, without parallel on the market. This is one of the steps we have taken for digitalisation in order to optimise processes and bring higher customer satisfaction. We believe that for our customers, the portal My Generali will be extremely convenient and will satisfy their needs for fast and secure online services provided under their insurance contracts" said Radoslav Dimitrov, CInsO and Member of the Management Board of Generali Insurance AD.

Users of the portal can make card payments that meet the security standards of Visa and Mastercard.

The COVID-19 pandemic has made the digitalisation of insurance services absolutely necessary and has accelerated the change in consumers’ attitude and behaviour, which will have a lasting effect on the industry. We are happy to partner a company such as Generali in the field of digital transformation and help one of the leading insurers in our country to provide their customers with fast, convenient and efficient service in the new digital world" said Kalin Radev, CEO of Software Group.

The next phases of the project will include the implementation of functionalities, which will allow the purchase of policies through an online portal or mobile application, payments via ePay, as well as the possibility for customers to file claims and track their status.
