Generali’s Ecological Stocks Fund in Generali Życie

From September 27 this year, Generali Życie offers to its clients the opportunity to invest in the Insurance Capital Fund (hereinafter "UFK"), which takes into account sustainable development factors in its investment policy, mainly those related to environmental protection – Generali Akcje Ekologiczne (Generali Ecological Stocks).
UFK Generali Akcje Ekologiczne invests its assets to the investment fund: Generali Fundusze SFIO subfund of Generali Akcje Ekologiczne, whose investment goal is to increase the value of assets in the long term as a result of an increase in the value of investments. The investment fund is a sub-fund with exposure to global stocks of sustainable development, obtained by investing at least 70% of assets in the participation units of the Sycomore Eco Solutions subfund separated within the foreign fund Sycomore Fund SICAV. The strategy of investing in this sub-fund is based on the ESG principles - it is a set of factors related to the natural environment (E - Environment), society (S - Social) and corporate governance (G - Governance). Sycomore is part of Generali Group.
The investment fund invests assets primarily in companies benefiting from the ecological transformation within five sectors: transport, energy, construction, circular economy (reduction of waste of resources) and ecology. On the other hand, it excludes companies that destroy the ecosystem or have a low ESG rating. Investments categories other than Sycomore Eco Solutions subfund's stocks may constitute in total no more than 30% of the subfund's assets. The exchange rate risk is hedged by concluding transactions in currency derivatives. The fund is directed primarily to people who are interested in investing in ecological solutions and want to take advantage of the green revolution.
Generali Akcji Ekologicznych UFK is available to most customers who hold life insurance contracts with insurance capital funds at Generali Życie. UFK was added to selected products. Potential investors should have an investment horizon of at least five years and accept high investment risk.
