Generali Hungary won the Sustainable Future Award 2022

The Generali Group programme, SME EnterPRIZE, dedicated to support the sustainable economic transformation of the European SMEs won the BCSDH (Business Council for Sustainable Development in Hungary) award in the category Sustainability Awareness Raising.

The 2022 BCSDH Sustainable Futures Awards focus on the areas where the system transformation is having the greatest impact on companies.
With this award, they want to inspire companies and managers to give to sustainability a greater role in their decisions and even to develop new ways of doing business.

"Sustainable development is an increasingly pressing issue and, given the changes that have taken place in recent times, it is clear that businesses that pay attention to sustainability will prevail in the long term. Fortunately, it's good to see that more and more SMEs are going green, as evidenced by the fact that this year we received one and a half times as many applications for the programme as in 2021. We are excited about the upcoming international Generali EnterPrize Forum at the end of October this year, giving us the opportunity to gain insights into the sustainability focus and status of other markets and to draw inspiration from best practices for the planned continuation of the programme next year", said Mihály Erdős, CEO.

On October 26th in Brussels, the second edition of SME EnterPRIZE", the Generali flagship project designed to promote a culture of sustainability among European SMEs, will take place in Brussels and Sustainability Heroes coming from nine european countries will be awarded.
