Roman Juráš, CEO of Generali Česká pojišťovna and Country Manager of the Generali Group for the Czech Republic and Slovakia, says: “We want to use the expertise, capacities and best experience of both companies to permanently connect teams and create a new structure that makes sense. We have a great opportunity to join forces, to use the size and power of Generali Česká pojišťovna and the simplicity and innovative drive of Slovak Generali to provide the best services for our customers and partners together.”
Organisational interconnection is now subject to approval by the competent supervisory authorities. The connection will have no effect on existing contracts or on services provided to customers or business partners. Conversely, the continued improvement of the quality of products and services remains a long-term priority of both insurance companies in Slovakia and the Czech Republic, so that customers have maximum support available at any time and place.
Juraj Jurčík, CEO of Generali Poisťovňa, explains: “Connecting activities will enable us to share resources, continuously improve processes and deliver even better solutions and services to our customers in terms of our ambition to become a lifetime partner. Generali is one of the fastest growing and most stable insurance companies in Slovakia. We want to retain this position so that we can continue to face unexpected situations such as the current pandemic, in a timely and appropriate manner.”
