Generali provides insurance products in three key areas, namely life, P&C and pension funds. Generali conducts its business activities in Poland through four specialized companies. They are Generali Towarzystwo Ubezpieczeń S.A. (P&C insurance), Generali Życie Towarzystwo Ubezpieczeń S.A. (life insurance), Generali Powszechne Towarzystwo Emerytalne S.A. (pension insurance) and Generali Finance Sp. z o.o. It has two brands, Generali and Proama. Generali strives to develop long-term relationships with its customers. This means providing them with comprehensive protection for their assets at every stage of their lives.

The emphasis in 2016 was on raising profitability and balancing the product mix. Generali Poland reported GWP of €550 million in 2016 with €325 million in the P&C insurance segment, expanding its presence in the non-motor insurance market. Life premiums came to €226 million. Generali Poland’s focus in the life insurance segment is on protection products and on gradually decreasing the UL portion of the portfolio.
